Noel Streatfeild edited a number of anthologies of non-fiction
articles. Angela Bull
said of her "Noel loved editing. She chose her contributors
carefully, briefed them on exactly what she wanted, and then bound
the contents together in a personalised running commentary, in
which she addresses the reader directly" (1984:210).
